"The answer is always love."

This has been my mantra over the last week, as I surrender to the flow of abundance and practice loving my money. The question I posed last week was how does a wholehearted savvy business owner approach challenges? Right now my challenge is the tangle of money & self-worth. The answer revealed to me was completely unexpected.

When a clients inquires about their marketing, my reply is "What is your desired outcome or end result?" This is important for their online marketing because we begin with their overall vision first and then work backwards to determine the best strategy of social media sites, the type of content, their most engaging audience, images, etc to support the development and growth into their desired outcome.

So, I used this question on myself "Adeah, what is your desired outcome in your relationship with money? And in relationship with your self-worth?" Then I held space open for the answers and listened carefully throughout my daily activities.  (Side note- This is an important part to developing into your desired outcome! Be open and listen for the answers to your questions.)

The heart of my desired outcome with money  is to hold the presence of grace and ease in my life.  It is not actually the money! It is the feelings I truly desire to experience. Knowing my desired outcome I started to reverse engineer a process to develop the presence of grace and ease in my life.

The process:

  • Self-love is the first step to elicit inner peace around my fears and challenges with money.
  • Be certain that the challenges are actually part of the process of my desired outcome.  The fear will pass. The other side of this process will be worth enduring the shadows (fear, doubt, resistance, etc.).
  • Weave unbridled joy into every action surrounding money.  Feel the grace and ease right now with each action associated with money.

Crazy! Huh? These answers were not what I could have predicted. Yet, I recognize this process with my clients who embrace wholehearted marketing for their business. The women who have the most success with their marketing, approach each challenge with self-love, faith and enthusiasm for the unknown.

    I love this post! In all things I “try” to not be pushy. In my sales, or my marketing, my approach has always been to step back and allow people to experience my company, brand, or my personality. That’s always been the way it “works”. But sometimes I get into this crazy space. I feel like I’m not “Doing” enough, and I begin to push. It doesn’t turn out well at all. It’s like rolling a huge heavy ball up a hill, and I’m scared the whole time that it’s going to roll back and flatten me. Not good!
    And what I’m seeing here, is that I may be doing the exact same thing with money. When asked the question recently, “use one word to describe your relationship with money” I said, “rollercoaster”. And then “what would you like your relationship to be”. My immediate answer was, “love”. So I already know my desired outcome. I can feel it in my body…. now it’s time to have faith that the fear will pass.

Looks like you are embracing a new truth…that boulder pushing is not part of your professional skills. 🙂 Your approach is humble and respectful in your marketing but sometimes you need to flaunt your stuff, just as you are in that moment. No extras needed. It is simply your presence that makes your business (and services) amazing.

    This is great. I love the way you ask questions of the universe and wait for the response, and that it is not always what you expect. I wrote my B-school blog today about discovering my “sign” for the day was a slug. Not very sexy, but what I needed to hear from the universe! I find marketing to be the same. Sometimes before I call a potential client I will just imagine how great it will be when I work with that person and how grateful they will be for what we accomplish together. I also imagine a stream of my energy going out and connecting with them in a loving way… sounds crazy, but it helps me overcome the fear of picking up the phone!
